Robust, water tight IP telephone for engine room and deck. This telephone comes as a basic body, and a handset, or a headset must be added for the station to be functional. Relay and direct drive of beacon sounder from PoE+ is available.

Description

The ip172 is an IP industrial telephone for marine use. It is bulkhead mount in an IP65 enclosure, and is water tight and salt mist resistant. It comes with a nice silicone rubber keyboard with 15 keys. To be used it must be connected with either a handset or a headset or both, depending on the use. The telephone has an unique 24V DC output for driving a beacon sounder directly from PoE+ making installation very easy compared to the traditional extra 24V DC or 230 V AC supply needed for this purpose.
